Bar and Dining Services at Coco Plum

What a view for enjoying meals with that special someone.

At Coco Plum we serve a variety of Belizean and American-style dishes. Breakfast includes coffee or tea, fresh juice, fresh tropical fruits as well as eggs, bacon, sausage, fried jacks, toast, and Johnny cakes. Lunches are typically light and include dishes such as fish hoagies, BLT sandwiches on homemade bread, or hudut, a delicious, local Garifuna soup of fish fillets in coconut milk. Dinners include fish balls in red sauce with spaghetti, or of course a traditional Belizean meal of stewed chicken, rice and beans cooked in coconut milk, potato salad, and plantain slices.

If you have any food allergies or food preferences please let us know in advance so that our cook will be prepared and our island kitchen well stocked.

Menu

We can cater to any dietary needs just let us know when you book your trip what you require! Your typical daily menu would consist of one of our delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dessert is included with both lunch and dinner. Dinner is a three course meal with a salad/soup, entree, and dessert. Because we are located on an island and have limited resources, we do have a daily set menu.

Schedule

Coco Plum is a small, intimate resort with typically no more than 20 guests. Therefore, we do serve food at mealtimes. Breakfast is served from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m., lunch is served at 12:00 noon., and dinner is served at 7:00 p.m. Packed lunches are provided for guests who will be away from the island for lunch, whether for diving or snorkeling along the Barrier Reef or inland hiking waterfalls, exploring Mayan ruins, etc.

Location

Our thatched roof dining room sits out over the water. What a view for dining! You can enjoy the view from the extended covered porch anytime of the day! The Coco Plum thatched-roof bar and restaurant was built by Mayan artisans and provides a large open gathering area with comfy lounge chairs. It is perfect for relaxing in the evening, enjoying a tropical drink or a locally brewed beer after a day of adventures.

Romantic Dining at Coco Plum

Included in the Honeymoon/ Lovers’ Getaway package is a romantic candlelight dinner served on the veranda of your cabana or on the beach. Couples can enjoy the privacy and romance of a delicious three-course dinner for two served by our professional staff. Also included in the Honeymoon/ Lovers’ Getaway package is a bottle of wine. Come and experience the exclusiveness of dining with that special someone while gazing up at the wide expanse of the Caribbean sky filled with stars; feeling the cool, tropical breezes; and listening to the tranquil, romantic sound of the waves washing ashore your own private Belize beach.
